How to set email, Slack, and Discord alert preferences

Set Crawlbench alert preferences under Settings → Notifications. Account defaults apply everywhere. Override a workspace when one desk should stay quiet. Mute a single monitor from the monitors list without pausing the crawl.

Telegram setup lives in a separate guide. This page covers email, Slack, Discord, and mute.

How delivery works

Matching listings are batched. Email digests land about every 15 minutes. Slack, Discord, and Telegram coalesce on a shorter window so bursts become one readable message. None of these channels is a live crawl. Alerts fire after scheduled checks and the match gate.

You still message sellers on Facebook.

Step 1: Set account defaults

Open Settings → Notifications. Turn Email, Telegram, Slack, and Discord on or off for the whole account. Email needs a verified address. Slack and Discord need a webhook under Integrations first.

Settings → Notifications

Use Off on a channel you never check. Leaving every switch on feels complete and trains you to ignore the inbox.

Step 2: Connect Slack and Discord webhooks

Open Settings → Integrations. Paste an incoming Slack webhook URL or a Discord channel webhook URL, then Connect. The card should show the channel as connected.

Optional: under Notifications for a workspace, expand the Slack or Discord override to use a different webhook for that desk. Inherit keeps the account webhook.

Step 3: Override one workspace when needed

On This workspace, pick Inherit, On, or Off per channel. Inherit follows the account default. Off mutes that channel for this workspace only.

Keep overrides rare. If every workspace has a custom matrix, you will not remember why a desk went silent.

Step 4: Mute one noisy monitor

From Monitors, use Mute alerts on a single profile. Coverage and in-app matches continue. Outbound email, Telegram, Slack, and Discord skip that monitor for you until you unmute.

Mute is for a temporary flood or a filter you are still tightening. Pause the monitor only when you want scheduled checks to stop.
