Affiliate terms

1. Who can join

Anyone 18 or older with a Crawlbench account can join, on a paid plan or not. Join from Settings, under Earn. Joining is free. We can turn down or remove an account that breaks these terms.

2. What you earn

You earn 30% of every payment a customer you refer makes in their first 12 months, on Deals and Markets plans bought on our website. A yearly plan earns 30% of the yearly payment. Upgrades during those 12 months earn the same 30%. Custom contracts, such as Scale and Enterprise data, earn 10% of what the customer pays in their first year. We count what the customer pays without taxes. Purchases inside the iPhone app do not count yet.

3. How a referral counts

Share your link or your code. A click on your link counts for 90 days, until the person creates an account. A code used at checkout counts for you, even if the customer clicked someone else's link. Only new customers count: an account that already exists cannot become your referral. Free Day Passes and trials earn nothing until the customer pays. Your friends get 20% off their first 3 months with your code.

4. Payouts and taxes

Each reward waits 30 days after the payment, so refunds and chargebacks can clear. Then we pay once a month, by PayPal or Wise, when your balance reaches $50. A smaller balance rolls over to the next month. We need a W-9, or a W-8BEN outside the United States, before the first payout. You are responsible for taxes on what you earn.

5. How to promote Crawlbench

Share Crawlbench on your own website, blog, newsletter, videos and social accounts, and in groups where promotion is allowed. Say that you earn a commission, close to the link and in words people will see, such as "I earn a commission if you sign up." Describe Crawlbench honestly: our features, plans and prices as they are on our website.

6. What is not allowed

• Ads in search engines or anywhere else on the Crawlbench name, or on words close to it.
• Coupon, deal and cashback sites.
• Buying through your own link or code, or for an account you control.
• Spam: unwanted email, messages or comments, and fake reviews.
• Saying you are Crawlbench or speak for us, or promising discounts, refunds or features we do not offer.

7. Refunds, fraud and reversals

A refund or a chargeback takes back the matching reward. If we find a referral made by fraud or against these terms, we cancel its rewards, paid or not, and may remove you from the program.

8. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms or the rewards. We will email you 30 days before a change takes effect. Rewards for payments made before the change keep the old terms.

9. Ending the program

You can leave at any time from Settings, under Earn. We can end the program, or your place in it, with 30 days of notice, or at once if you break these terms. Unless you broke these terms, we pay every reward you earned once its 30-day wait has passed.

10. Our relationship

You promote Crawlbench as an independent partner, not as our employee or agent, and you cannot make promises or sign anything for us. As far as the law allows, our total liability under these terms is limited to the rewards owed to you for the last 12 months. These terms are governed by the same law as our Terms of service.
