Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Crawlbench: the website, the web app, the APIs and Enterprise data. "Crawlbench", "we", "us" and "our" mean the business that runs Crawlbench. You can reach us at support@crawlbench.com.

By creating an account or using Crawlbench, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Crawlbench.

1. What Crawlbench is

Crawlbench shows public listings from the marketplaces it covers and checks each asking price against similar listings. It has three products:

• Deals: searches that find new listings and send them to you as alerts, with the price check on every listing.
• Markets: the usual price, the trend and days to go for each vehicle market you save, and for your own listings.
• Enterprise data: listing data and market numbers for companies, under a data contract.

The assistant, the team desk, the Searches API and webhooks are part of these products. Busy cities are checked every minute on Scale, every 2 minutes on Pro, every 5 on Growth and every 10 on Starter.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older and able to make a binding contract.
• Each login is for one person. Do not share it. Keep your password safe: you are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Give us correct details when you sign up, and keep them up to date.
• To work with other people, use a plan with a team: Pro or Scale on Deals, Team or Scale on Markets. The account that owns a team pays for it and decides who joins. One person can be on more than one team.

3. The Day Pass and the 3-day trial

The Day Pass is free for 24 hours and needs no credit card. It starts when your first search turns on, covers one search and runs at Growth speed. Each account gets one Day Pass. When it ends, your search pauses until you choose a plan, and everything you set up stays.

Starter, Growth and Pro start with a 3-day trial. You add a card, and nothing is charged if you cancel within the 3 days. Each account gets one trial. If you do not cancel, your plan starts when the trial ends, and we charge the price shown when you started the trial.

Markets has a Free plan: a free account with no credit card.

4. Plans and payments

• Deals has four plans: Starter, Growth, Pro and Scale. Markets has four: Free, Solo, Team and Scale. Deals plans do not include Markets. The Pricing page shows each plan's price and what it includes.
• Starter, Growth, Pro, Solo and Team are paid in advance, monthly or yearly, in US dollars. They renew on their own until you cancel.
• Scale plans and Enterprise data are set by a written contract, which states the price and the term.
• Payments on our website are processed by Stripe. Crawlbench is the seller, and the price on the Pricing page is the amount you pay, with no tax added at checkout. Checkout also follows Stripe's terms.
• You can change or cancel your plan at any time in Settings, under Plan. When you cancel, your plan stops renewing and you keep it to the end of the period you paid for. Your searches and saved listings stay if you cancel.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. A new price starts at your next renewal.

5. Speed and fair use

Each plan has a number of searches, a speed for busy cities and a number of people. A search that fits in one round checks every city. A wider search checks busy cities every round and quiet cities less often.

The assistant has a daily fair use limit for each person. We tell you when you reach it.

6. Refunds

Refunds follow our Refund policy, which is part of these terms: a full refund within 14 days of your first payment, on monthly and yearly plans. Your rights under consumer law, such as the right to withdraw within 14 days in the EU and the UK, also apply.

8. Enterprise data

Enterprise data is listing data and market numbers for companies, delivered by API, daily files or MCP. Each data customer signs a data contract that sets the categories, countries, delivery, price and term. These terms apply together with the data contract. Where they differ, the data contract applies.

• Use the data within the law, privacy law included, and only as your data contract allows.

9. The Searches API and webhooks

Teams on Pro and Scale can use the Searches API and webhooks at api.crawlbench.com. Keep your keys secret: you are responsible for every call made with them. We may limit or turn off a key that harms Crawlbench or breaks these terms.

10. What you agree not to do

You agree not to:

• Use Crawlbench to break the law or anyone's rights.
• Send spam to sellers or anyone else, or harass anyone.
• Resell Crawlbench, or the listings and numbers it shows, without a contract with us.
• Copy listings or numbers from Crawlbench in bulk, except through our APIs or a data contract.
• Copy, take apart or try to get the source code of Crawlbench, except where the law allows it.
• Overload or disrupt Crawlbench, or get around its limits.

11. Listings and marketplaces

Crawlbench shows public listings from the marketplaces it covers. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta, Facebook or any marketplace named on our site. You contact sellers yourself, on the marketplace. You are responsible for following that marketplace's terms and the law when you use what Crawlbench shows you.

12. Your content

What you add stays yours: your searches, notes, saved listings, outcomes, your own listings in Markets, and your settings. You let us store and use it, worldwide and free of charge, to run and improve Crawlbench.

Your searches and outcomes also count in group numbers, never alone, in the price check, Markets and Enterprise data. Our Privacy policy explains how. A team owner can turn off "Count our results in group numbers" in Settings, under Team.

13. Our rights in Crawlbench

Crawlbench, its software, design, words and market numbers belong to us or to those who license them to us. We give you a personal, limited right to use Crawlbench under these terms. You cannot pass this right on, and it ends when your account ends.

14. Ending your use

You can stop using Crawlbench and delete your account at any time, on the web. We may pause or close your account if you break these terms, if you do not pay, or if keeping it open would expose us to legal risk. When your account ends, so does your right to use Crawlbench. Parts of these terms that by their nature should last, such as fees owed, ownership, disclaimers and limits on liability, still apply.

15. What we do not promise

Crawlbench is provided as it is and as available. As far as the law allows, we give no promises beyond these terms, stated or implied, including that Crawlbench is of satisfactory quality, fit for a particular purpose or free of claims by others. We do not promise that Crawlbench will always be available or free of errors, that it will find every listing, or that an alert will reach you at a set time.

The price check and market numbers are built from the asking prices of similar listings, updated every day. Use them as one input to your own decisions.

16. Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, special or consequential losses, or for punitive damages, such as lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about Crawlbench is limited to what you paid us for Crawlbench in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

17. Claims caused by your use

If someone makes a claim against us because you used Crawlbench against these terms or the law, you will cover our losses and costs from that claim.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Before a big change takes effect, we tell you by email or in the app. If you keep using Crawlbench after the change, the new terms apply.

19. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. If you are a consumer, the consumer protection laws of the country where you live still apply where a contract cannot set them aside.
