How to connect Telegram for Crawlbench alerts

Connect Telegram from Settings → Notifications. Link the Crawlbench bot once on your account, then keep alert preferences on for the workspaces that should ping you.

Telegram is for detection speed. You still message sellers on Facebook.

Why Telegram instead of only email

Email digests are useful for a quieter desk. Telegram coalesces match batches on a shorter window so you can react while the listing is still warm. Neither channel is a live crawl. Both notify after Crawlbench's scheduled checks and match gate.

Step 1: Open Settings and find Telegram

Sign in, open Settings, and scroll to notifications / integrations. Telegram is account-scoped: one chat for your user, not a different bot per workspace.

Step 2: Start the bot with the link token

Use the in-app link action under Settings → Integrations. It opens Telegram with a one-time start token for this environment's bot. Confirm the chat connects, then return to Crawlbench. A successful link shows Telegram as connected with your @username.

If the link fails, check that you used the start flow from the same Crawlbench account and that Telegram notifications are allowed on your phone.

Step 3: Set workspace preferences

Account defaults apply to every workspace. Override a workspace when one desk should stay quiet. You can mute a single monitor without pausing the crawl.

What a good Telegram alert contains

Expect a short batch when matches pass filters: enough identity and price to decide whether to open the app, plus a path back to the match. Link previews stay off so the inbox stays readable.

Keep the human boundary

Automate detection and filtering. Keep the first Facebook message manual. If a tool offers auto-DM, that is a different product risk, not this guide.
