How an AI draft becomes a Marketplace search you still approve
Describe a Marketplace deal in one sentence. Crawlbench drafts the search, dry-runs it, and saves nothing until you approve.

Day Pass is a one-time, no-card 24-hour window: 1 search, up to 20 cities, then a 3-day trial if the lane is worth keeping.
A Facebook Marketplace Day Pass lets you run one real search for 24 hours with no credit card: one active search, up to 20 cities, and an alert each time a check finds a listing that passes your filters. It starts when you activate the first search. After the clock, you start a 3-day trial from Billing if the lane is worth keeping.
Start from pricing when the search is ready. No card. The clock does not start on signup.
This is a test of deal craft, not a tour. If you spend the day refreshing Facebook by hand instead of reading listings, you will learn nothing about whether alerts beat the refresh button.
Numbers below come from current pricing and plan caps (Starter 3 searches, Growth 8, Pro 20, Scale custom). Recheck /pricing if you are reading this months later.
Day Pass includes one-time, no-card access for 24 hours: 1 search, up to 20 cities, alerts on each check, 7-day listing history, Market Snapshot capped at 7 days, and 5 Saved listings.
It is wider on cities than Starter (3 cities) or Growth (8), so size your paid plan with that in mind. You can run a 20-city or nationwide-style search on the pass that will not fit a smaller paid plan later. On Starter or Growth, a search covers as many cities as that plan allows.
New accounts sit on free with zero caps until Day Pass or a trial starts. Day Pass is the no-card way to see listings that pass. The 3-day trial is the next step from Settings → Plan and needs checkout.
Crawlbench never messages sellers for you. You open Facebook Marketplace and write in your own session, so your account stays safe.
Day Pass is not unlimited searches and not a forever free tier.
If you need a phone interrupt during the pass, connect an alert channel after the search is tight. Do not start with four channels and a sloppy search.
You need a Facebook account you already shop on, a Crawlbench login, and one set of filters you can act on if a good listing hits.
For vehicles, that usually means a make, a model, a year floor, a price cap, and a city list you would actually drive or ship. Minimal vehicle setup is the right shape. Vehicle monitoring is the product page if you want the category picture first.
Do not burn the 24 hours on "any Honda under $20k, all cities" unless that is truly how you buy.
Create one search before you activate so the pass clock starts on a search you already believe in.
If you activate an empty draft, you spend clock on nothing.
Spend the first hours reading what actually passed, not rebuilding the search every 20 minutes.
A new search fills with baseline inventory that is already on Marketplace. Those rows belong in your listings. Fresh outbound alerts stay limited to listings posted in the last three hours, so the first hours are not a notification storm. First hours on a new search is the longer version of that expectation.
Look for junk you already reject by hand. Add excluded terms. Raise a year floor if $800 typos are slipping through. That is the work. Refreshing Facebook in another tab is the old habit.
More on timing: what alert timing means. Crawlbench checks busy cities every 10 minutes on Starter, every 5 on Growth, every 2 on Pro and every minute on Scale, as pricing shows on 18 October 2026.
Decide the paid shape before the clock ends so you do not design a 20-city monster you cannot keep.
Current self-serve packages (monthly, from /pricing):
If Day Pass used 20 cities on one nationwide-style search, Starter and Growth will not hold that width. Pro matches the 20-city budget. Scale is for teams that outgrow a fixed cap.
When the pass ends, the account returns to free with zero caps. Checks stop. The search and its filters stay. Nothing is auto-deleted. Start the 3-day trial from Settings → Plan if you want coverage to continue.
Checkout onto Starter or Growth is allowed even if the saved city list is wider than the new cap. Billing will show over limit. Tighten cities if you choose a smaller plan.
A useful Day Pass test is one lane you already lose deals on.
Example: 2015–2019 Ford F-150, two metros you can pick up in, price cap from last month's actual buys, exclusions for "parts", "flood", and "rebuilt". Leave Slack or Telegram on for that one search. Log every listing you would have messaged. At hour 20, ask:
If the answers are no, noisy, and "I don't know," fix the filters before you start a trial. Tighten them and use the remaining hours to test the better version. A 3-day trial on loose filters only creates a longer mute habit.
Day Pass is a no-card, 24-hour, one-search trial of Marketplace coverage with up to 20 cities. Use it on filters you already understand, then pick Starter, Growth, Pro, or a trial from pricing based on the searches and cities you will actually run.
