How an AI draft becomes a Marketplace search you still approve
Describe a Marketplace deal in one sentence. Crawlbench drafts the search, dry-runs it, and saves nothing until you approve.
Guides
Turn one sentence into a Facebook Marketplace AI search: describe it, review the draft, optional live sample, then activate on a free Day Pass.
A Facebook Marketplace AI search starts as one clear sentence about what you want. You describe what you want Crawlbench to catch. The AI Assistant fills the same wizard fields you would type by hand. Nothing goes live until you apply the draft, review it, and submit the form.
Compose is free. Going live needs a no-card Day Pass or a paid plan. The pass is 24 hours, one search. What it includes: Facebook Marketplace Day Pass.
A Facebook Marketplace AI monitor is a saved search composed with help from language tools, then enforced by the same filters as a hand-built search. AI writes the draft fields. Marketplace checks and a pass/fail match gate decide which listings alert you.
It is not a chatbot that picks winners from the feed. It is not Facebook saved search with a new label. On Crawlbench, AI Assistant is a create path: describe the lane, review the parsed draft, optionally run a live sample, then hand off to the search form.
You open AI Assistant, send a sentence that names identity, price, city, and hard nos, then review the draft before Apply to wizard and submit.
A complete sentence becomes a draft you can review right away. Activation still needs your confirmation.
The sentence should name category identity, a price bound, coverage, and phrases you refuse. Vague hopes produce vague drafts.
Use this shape:
Toyota 4Runner 2018 or newer under $32000 near Dallas. Skip salvage and flood titles.
That line gives the assistant four things it can write into form fields:
Other starter lanes work the same way: FSBO houses under a metro price, MacBook Pro under a city ceiling, a Sony A7 body hunt with parts-only skipped. Write the search the way you would brief a partner. If you need the discipline behind that sentence, read how to set your filters for Facebook Marketplace cars.
A live sample is a shallow Marketplace check against the current draft. It shows how many listings would pass your filters in a short pass. It does not save listings, send alerts, or activate the search.
Use it when the draft looks ready but you want evidence before wizard submit. An empty sample can mean the search is too tight, the cities are wrong, or the feed had nothing in that pass. A sample full of junk means exclusions or the price floor still need work. Each team has a daily sample cap; free plans use a smaller preview budget.
The search starts checking Marketplace only after you submit the form and activate. Until then you have a draft, not coverage.
After activation, Crawlbench checks busy cities every 10 minutes on Starter, every 5 on Growth, every 2 on Pro and every minute on Scale, as pricing shows on 18 October 2026. Alerts arrive on your plan's check, in every city on the search, including the hours you are not at the refresh button. For what the first hours look like once a search is live, see new search first hours and what alert timing means.
AI does not keep "thinking" about each listing. The pass/fail gate applies your saved filters. The reason on each alert shows why a listing passed. You still open Facebook and message the seller yourself.
Facebook saved search keeps a query inside Marketplace and may notify you when Facebook decides to. Crawlbench turns your sentence into structured filters, enforces them across chosen cities, and lists the listings that pass, with alert channels you control.
Saved search fits casual personal shopping. Operators who run many searches across metros usually need a dedicated tool. For the decision between AI compose, the manual wizard, and native saved search, see AI Assistant vs the monitor wizard vs Facebook saved search. For why language tools should fill filters rather than score deals, see AI should fill Marketplace filters, not pick deals.
Prefer the form for every field? Use the manual create guide. Ready to compose in chat? Open AI Assistant.
Describe the deal you want in one sentence, let AI Assistant draft the wizard fields, review the rail, sample if you need proof, then submit. Speed lives in compose and in your plan's check speed after activation. Closing still starts with your message on Facebook. Start from AI Assistant.
